It all started In 1983 when I paid £1000 for a 1977 1100 Mini Clubman Estate. The first things to go was the gutters & seams (Pic 1)

It was painted Roman Bronze (Pic 2)

It was then fitted with a 3/4 race 1300 engine and painted Porsche Guards red (Pic 3) (The yellow & orange stripes came later.) Like this I took it to many custom shows up and down the country .

Who said front wheel cars can't do burnouts (Pic 4) .

As I was still looking for more speed I built a chassis (Pic 5) ( which is still the base for car as it is now) with a 3.5 Rover V8, B/W auto box, Jag IRS & Spitfire IFS.

The first show I took it to was the Cross Cruisers Show in 1989 (Pic 6) Where it attracted much attention.

The first time Drag Racing was at the 1990 Hot Rod Drags at Avon Park (Pic 7) where I managed a 15.3 @ 88.6 and I was hooked hook line & sinker.

The end of the Rover engine came during the 1995 Mini Meet at Santa Pod when the crank broke during a burnout,
During the winter the car was striped down (Next four photos.) to the chassis and a full roll cage welded on, the Ford 302ci and fiber class panels fitted, like this in 1996 I went racing with the Wild bunch and the rest is history.

The last two Pic's  are of Dave Williams Corvette both doing long smoky burnouts and taken at Llandow.
